Sherry's Story
Sorry folks as most of you know I did not graduate from South Mountain High School, however I did get my GED. Over the years I studied many subjects from computer design to business to archeology and finally settled on social work. I have attended Phoenix College, Glendale Community College, ASU (main campus) and received my BSW from ASU-West. I worked for PCS (now CVS/Caremark) for 291/2 years before retiring in 2006. I have also worked for Banner Health for 28 years and 10 months. Eighteen of those years were part time. I am now retired and volunteer at Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park. logical sites in Arizona and also for the City of Phoenix Human Services many years ago.
I have ridden in Parades with Chantilly and Chaps, which was a women's riding group that was made up of women in the Phoenix Jaycees. Sorry to say we where not as wild as the Wild Women of the West. During football season you will find me at ASU home games, as a season ticket holder. Go Devils!!!!!!!
I have many hobbies including growing my own herbs and some veggies, knitting, sewing, counted cross stitch and needlepoint. Reading is mostly non fiction - usually about different cultures or archaeological exploration.
Currently I am taking an online class from edX.org on the pyramids at Giza. I have taken several other classes from edX including Human Origins and Icelandic Sagas.
