Life
I am blessed to have 5 beautiful, smart and funny grandchildren. I am now working on the Deaf unit at the Psychiatric Hospital in Montgomery as an RN (it's really a fitting job for me now). I was very interested when the Deaf unit opened because many of my relatives had been deaf and my grandmother become deaf and suffered from mental illness and there was very little help for her back in the 1960's. t first but has recently moved rapidly. I'm beyond hard of hearing but not quite deaf yet. I wear 2 hearing aids, but part of the progression makes me unable at times to comprehend what is said even when I hear it clearly. It leads to funny situations! My balance comes and goes without warning too. What fun!!!
Anyway, didn't know about a 30th reunion but hope we will have a 35th. I think we all look pretty good for a bunch of 50 yr olds.
I have a very eclectic interest in music and until I can't hear it anymore, I like it loud!!!!
