Life
I am blissfully married to Neal Regan (he is such a neat guy!) for over 36 years and we have a 45 year old son (mine from a previous marriage to Gary Oakey, Cradock '69 grad, who sadly passed away in May, 2009) named Todd Oakey who is charming, kind, FUNNY, bright, and sensationally handsome, successful, and such a kick! ! ! :o) What joy ! What a good man he is! That good man, is now the father of Gage Lee Oakey, born 01082013. his mother is the beautiful Heidi Cox Lawson who also has two gorgeous daughters from a previous marriage, Madison 17 and Avery 13 and they adore their new little brother. Gage is beautiful; he's kind and sweet natured, WELL MANNERED AND A JOY TO BE AROUND.. He's all boy! He's bright and quite active and full of charm. He always, always has a smile for you ! He is such a happy little boy. Neal and I are over the moon.
I plan to be back to Virginia in THE SPRING of this year (2018)) for a short visit WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. . I will be staying with my best friend, Wayne Tate in Portsmouth . Workplace
After arriving in Merritt Island, Florida, I worked in law enforcement from 1987 until 1999. From 1999 to 2004, I managed a doctor's office. I'm now retired and taking life in the slow lane ; having a great time with family and friends and most especially enjoy my beloved grandson, Gage. I still have a keen interest in interior design which continues to offer periodic income opportunities. I'm also a makeup junkie. I always tell friends that the older I get, the more bohemian I dress.
Home
We made some home improvements thanks to my amazing contractor (my son) we redesigned kitchen, both bathrooms, added a powder room and great room and then added on a a large front porch and a sleeping porch in the back.
My dream home would be an old-world Comstock, eclectic, romantic cottage with a touch of whimsey. I want the fairy tale!
