Sheryl's Story
Life's been good to me so far :)
The really early years were spent in VA, WV, and MS (Miss'ippi) until we moved to Charleston WV in Dec 1975.
In Charleston - attended Shoals Elementary for grades 3-6 then the first half of 7th grade at Thomas Jefferson Jr. High. We moved to Huntington WV - I finished up junior high at Beverly Hills, graduated Huntington East in 1980 (Mid the hills and flowing waters, baby!), then graduated Marshall in 1983.
Moved to Cinci in '84 as a computer programmer. I now do software design and implementation. I became mother of a little girl in 2001 and I love being a Mom!! I finally found Mr Right in 2007 and we married in 2008. We make a nice little family of 3 ... plus 3 cats.
Memories from School
Shoals - 6th grade Patrol trip to Washington DC. The main thing I remember is taking pictures - hundreds of pictures!
TJ Jr. High - I wasn't there very long, but what a wild ride it was. Bomb scares (Textbook Controversy), gang fights, someone pushed the principal down the stairs... ph...Expand for more

BHJH - Walking down that big ole hill and all the way home, barefoot, just to prove I could :) Breaking my ankle in the gym during a sock hop and getting carried out in a folding chair that folded on the way out! Fred Smith and his love of Black Sheep Squadron, Mr Wilmouth and those blasted maps in WV History... the adorable art teacher Mrs. Patterson and her big blocky jewelry.. lots of good times!
HEHS - far too many to to even summarize here. Great times in handbells and choir (rowdy altos!), lunches with Lea Ann and Anna at Wiggins, spending most of my lunch money in Sears buying LPs :) , going to the Rose Garden to see Scottie Dyer's band perform.
Marshall - tutoring some cool people, my 4! birthday, and my beloved Dr Cusick and Dr Hogan in the Math Dept., the Math vs. Physics softball games, and starting to find my own way through the world.
Weird to believe I've now been in Ohio longer than I was in West Virginia - but the hills are still my home. Funny how they burrow into your heart that way!
