Shirley's Story
I did graduate Colona Grade School in May of 1959.
I went to U.T.H.S. in East Moline, Illinois for 1 year in1960.
Having met the Love of my life, I quit school, because
I thought I was smart enough I guess.
I married in Feb. of 1964. We had and raised two children
one Son and one Daughter.
I did get my GED in 1972, I have worked taking care of the elderly
for many years.
My husband was a Certified Mechanic and made us a good living.
We left the Quad Cities and finally ending in Ky. in 1975.
When asked what Ky. is like, I call it God's country.

Bill and I have raised her since birth.
I lost my Love of my life Nov. 2009 and 46 years of marriage.
It is just now that I can talk about my husband.
I have a hobby doing research for genealogy. Love my hobby.
My siblings still live in and around the Quad Cities. My parents
have passed away.
I try to get up north at least once a year.
But I Love the weather we have here, this year the heat has been bad,
but the winters are not as bad as the north have.
Would like to make contact with some of my old Class Mates.
