12/3/2014 UPDATE:
All has been going well with my Family, my Partner/Paul has finished Radiation and his Blood work is good (the best so far). I want to wish ALL who belong to this Site "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" ! Also, I have continued to subscribe to this Classmates Site for 1 (One) more Year, so I can continue to connect with (EIS) and (JHS/PHS) Folks (I will review again after that). If anyone cares to converse directly with me. send a Private Message via this Site. I hope to see some of you at the up and coming "1965 Class Reunion" in June 2015. It would be great to connect and catch up.
I am going to Promise AGAIN (for 2015) to make a better effort to Connect and Keep In Touch with those that have connected with me, so far and going forward. I know this coming NEW YEAR will be better for my Family and ALL OF YOU (and Yours). Again, have a BLESSED HOLIDAY and hope to talk soon!!!
7/1/2014 UPDATE:
Thought I would send a quick update. All has been well with me and I have been thinking about doing some Contract work out of my Home Office. This way I can regulate my own time. As far as my Family goes: My Son Todd (refer to previous Story) is doing much better these days, but still in morning for his Wife (Traci). Everyone has their own time that this takes and he is going through this the only way he knows how. My Partner (Paul) unfortunately has been battling Cancer since Sept. 2013. He had Surgery in Dec. 2013 and has just completed Radiation Therapy. We see the Oncologist next week, so we hope that the news is good.
I am on FACEBOOK, (Shirley Leffler) in case I don't continue with this CLASSMATES website, not sure yet. So if after this August you try to contact me via this site and I don't respond, please contact me via FACEBOOK. I have connected with some of you via THIS site, but have not had the time to continue. I haven't forgotten, so I will touch base with you as time allows. I have also attempted to contact folks via FB, but again, not much time to follow up, but will try to pick up in a couple of months (when things settle down). My Son Todd and I are hoping to get to Jackson in August ( I think that is the Month the County Fair is on) for a few days. Hope everyone is well and please keep in touch, either via this site or FB. I also Tagged (in my Photos) some JHS Yearbook pictures from 1963 and 1965 in case you don't remember what I look like. But of course that was then.

I hope that all of my News isn't always bad, but this time it is. My Daughter-in-law (Traci), who is Married to my oldest Son Todd Boylan passed away approx. 2 weeks ...Expand for more
ago. At this time we do not know the cause. Todd had known her since they were 12 years old and she lived in our neighborhood. They also went to School together and had stayed Friends over the years. Todd had been a Single man for about 2 1/2 years since a rough breakup of his prior Relationship. He reconnected with Traci and they knew that they were meant for each other. (Todd and Traci never had been Married before, but had Children from Relationships) Not so long, after they got back together, we all went to Las Vegas and on 2/23/2012 they were Married. What a great time of Happiness and Love. Todd found Traci to be the Love of his Life and a true Soul-Mate, which she felt as well. For the past year they Posted their Love and Life on Facebook and if you had been a part of it, you would have read a TRUE LOVE STORY. Now, you will read a very HEART BREAKING STORY. Both Traci and Todd has a large circle of Friends and Traci has a large close Family. There were over 250 people at her Service and it was BEAUTIFUL. So many folks stood up to say how much Traci had meant to them and how many had been connected due to Traci and Todd's connection with each other. She also left a grown Son in the Marines, another Married Son living in Columbus Ohio and a 14 year old Daughter who lived with them at home in Reynoldsburg Ohio (where I also live). Todd is taking this really hard, as we ALL are and understandably so. Please keep my Family in your Thoughts and Prayers during this time. I am also on Facebook as SHIRLEY LEFFLER BOYLAN as well as my Son TODD BOYLAN. I hope to have happier news the next time I post.
Beginning Story:
I have lived in Columbus Ohio since 1972. I started my working career early as well as my family of 3 Sons. I did loose my second Son in 2005. I have 5 "Grand" Children, just ask them, they will tell you that they are "Grand".
Because I started my Career and Family early I am now retired from IBM and have a wonderful Life Partner (that can put up with me, which is no easy job).
He is still a Director of Operations for a Wholesale company and we have a large group of Friends that we try and travel with as much as possible.
I do get back to Jackson at least once a Summer to see Friends, (that I have stayed in touch with) along with some Family members. I also try and make it to the Class Reunions, which are Great.
12/2009 UPDATE:
I have move to a new home in another suburb of Columbus. I moved around the Holidays, which is something that I will never do again (move around Holidays that is). Oh well, I made it and loving the new place. It is a Ranch Type and easier to move around in and manage.
