Shirley's Story
I attended school in Bradenton, Fla. from kindergarten 1943 thru ninth grade 1953. My parents moved to South Carolina which was there child hood home state. I have been here ever since, finishing high school, college, working, got married, started my own business (still operating) reared two children and now have 5 grandchildren. I still sing solos and special music, active in my church, garden clubs on state level and The DAR on the state level, Lay speaker and on a Bowling League. Just busy, busy and enjoying it all. Some may remember me as fun and some as shy.

er when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a greatpartly idea. As it turns out, they were right. I Have done that then sarted my own business. I have taught at our Technical college courses pertaining to my business and enjoyed it very much, however, my business grew to a point I had to stop teaching . The Tech School was one of my favorite customers for landscaping and designing the campus. Then my husband went to work for them full time and he thought it best for me not to be a conflict of interest. I have my son involved now and he is going to eventually have my business.
