Life
Hi former classmates! Some of you may remember me, although I don't feel that I left an impression on anyone in my highschool. At that time I was too busy feeling "out of place" and "unwanted" around campus. I think I was really fighting against integration. I really wish I had taken the time to get to know my classmates better. Anyway, after graduating from NLU in 1976, I taught school in Monroe for 3 years before relocating to Texas. I was following my dream of becoming an administrator. I am currently living in Dallas. assed away in November, 2010) for 15 yrs. I have one son, Eric, 3 grandsons and 3 grand-daughters; 3 stepchildren and 6 step-grandchildren. I am enjoying life - having lived through a number of surgeries - I realize just how precious life really is. Tomorrow is not promised to us, so I thank God each day for my existence. I am very active with my church as an assistant superintendent of the children's Sunday church school and a member of the Women United Mission group. I am a certified Wedding Consultant and I love to give motivational speeches. I pledged the graduate chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae). I retired after 38 yrs on my job and I am currently working on starting my own event planning business in the Dallas/Ft. worth area.
