Sid's Story
Life
After Adamson.. I worked in Denver for several years. Then joined the Regular Air Force (had been in the Air Force Reserve since the age of 17). The AF sent me to the Seattle area and have lived here ever since. Worked at the University of Washington - Electrical Engineering Dept from 1962 to 1992 and then retired. Have lived here in the same home for 30 years now. Have two children.. both boys.. that I raised on my own. Have two grandchildren. people have used to learn how to fly. Had the first flying lessons at age 14 while a freshman at Adamson. In 1991 we bought a Mooney made down in Kerrville,TX and have flown it down to Austin to see many relatives there. It is hard to beat Seattle. The weather is not only cooler and less humid in the summer but actually a bit warmer in mid-winter than around Dallas. We will have about the same amount of snow as Dallas.. some years we get none. Much rain in the winter. Each spring I get homesick for Texas.
