Sigrid's Story
greetings,
After a trying winter, the air is beginning to feel like spring, the snow is slowly leaving and there are possible signs of flowers in the garden. It would appear that my shrubs have survived the snow and cold winter for which I am grateful. Life is still wonderful.
The years have been good to me, I have enjoyed several excellent educational experiences, world travel, and friends of many backgrounds. After leaving MA in 1984 I completed my Masters at Yale and have enjoyed several positions with a geriatric focus, I surmise that at some point I shall be a " geriatric case" myself. I moved from CT in 2012 to Cape Cod after deciding that it would be nice to enjoy my later years rather then waiting for them to catch up with me. It has been a wonderf...Expand for more
ul experience, and I am living in a NE paradise. Believe me, it's a small town, smaller than Bernardston, in both size and population - at least in winter- when we have about 1800 year round residents, but in the summer that number swells to 35 K- no kidding. There is a reason Cape Coder's like Labor Day, that's when the towns become ours once again.
I am enjoying my home, the little "jobs" here and there, my dog Hepburn now 10 months old, work and volunteering.
I visit Bernardston often, see family and friends, continue my antique collecting, and all the shops there that have yet to be duplicated here. So, if visiting the cape, stop in and if in need of a bed let me know, friendly visits are always welcome.
