Skane's Story
Life
Wow, we're old !!! I'm currently living in Fort Worth and I'm a probation officer. I have a wonderful wife (Stacy) and three awesome kids (Kaitlin- 19, Skyler- 15, Morgan- 14)! I am racing against time and still pursuing other careers. Gotta do something before I take up my rocker!!!
School
I drank too much... I went to the "hill" too much... And I'm not too sure if I learned very much in high school...
College
See "school"... I still didn't learn too much in my 13 years of college. I actually got my act together (never too late, even at 32!) and earned my degree in Kansas in 2000, then returned...Expand for more
to Fort Worth, TX to be a probation officer. In my spare time I somehow managed to earn my masters degree in information systems management. I'm currently finishing my alternative teacher certification so I can live the 'easy' life teaching technology applications to middle or high-schoolers, and eventually teach at the college level.
Workplace
I have been slow to progress in life... Just like in high school, huh? I've been a probation officer for over 6 years now in Fort Worth, but will be certified to be a teacher soon (within weeks I hope)... Is there a better job than teaching??? Come on!!! Summers OFF!
