Soledad's Story

Life So, I'm a stay at home mom right now. My life is great. It's not at all what I thought it would be, though. I thought I'd be on stage, acting and living out my dream living closer to Chicago. I just can't part ways with my 2 year old daughter. She's my life and I find it extremely hard to even get a "real" job! I have a great marriage and great family! I am a firm believer that everything comes in due time! :) Until then...I'll enjoy the pleasures of being home and not having to work. My husband (Tim) does great in taking care of Alejandra and me! We are very happy together. He's still the man I fell in love with back in high school when we were only 15. We've been married for a little over 5 1/2 years and couldn't be any happier. Well, he wants a son...I don't want anymore kids....well not yet anyway! :) God has truly blessed us! School I'll never forget the morning dew in Mission, Texas. Those days...Expand for more
when all you could smell was the rain coming and it was blazing hot. Having to wake up freaking early (5 a.m.) to go to volleyball/basketball practice and run miles that early in the morning. Junior high was a good time though! Elementary school was great...I felt like the ruler of the school! :) I've lost contact with most of my friends since moving to Indiana, but I always remember them! I remember the days after summer rec. when we used to walk to a neighborhood store and it was just me with about 5 guys and a girlfriend. We had some wonderful times. My biggest crush...well I had too! Paul and Jeff! :) AAAAHHHH...Memories! To be 12 again! College OH GOD!!! All I can say is that I remember those days when I'd stay up until 5-6 a.m. to finish a paper! Then having to wait for the bus in the freezing cold snow and ice!!!! I think I want to go back though...maybe to get my masters in theatrical make-up! :)
