Sonia's Story
Life
widow, four kids, 4 grandkids, retired accountant, writer, poet, movie extra, card player
Planning my next move to San Francisco as soon as I sell my house.
Hopefully by the end of the year 2006. My son will move me while I gamble in Vegas and stay out of the way.
Well, SF didn't happen. As life would have it, we stayed put until now. My son has landed his dream position with IKEA and will take over the Schaumburg, Il store in the fall. So we will move sometime in oct or nov. That will put us in the Chicago area as the winter season starts.
How ironic, as that is where my folks were both born.
My e-mail should remain the same-
Good reloc package and great homes to choose from in Il.

ldest summers in a long time. There was hot days and humidity, but still mild. We just finiished major landscaping job, as home has about 100 trees. Some were dead from lightening strikes, some just needed pruning, and some got pulled to make a path through our little "forest". Have to check each day's weather to know what you can do in this state.
Just had a great Thanksgiving week. My daughter Florrie mad it here from NY, and my oldest son , Allen and his 2 kids, Sam and Liz came in from Calif. My middle son, Brad and his new wife, Jenn, couldn't come this time, but we ate enough for them.My son. Matt made all the meals, which included all the RIGHT wines for each one. We also played some Yahtze and cards, which included SPITE AND MALICE, quadruple solitaire, and HAND AND FOOT.
Snow is due on Wednesday and Thursday and Fri temps will be in the 20's (high)-not sure what the los will be.
