Larry's Story
I graduated from Glenwood in 1960 & went to work for the Timken Co. in 1962. Joined the National Guard in 1963 and was married in 1965 to Sonja Huebner who graduted from Glenwwod in 1961. Sold real estate and formed a rental and management company with my brother.
Retired From Timken in 1993 at age 52. Sold our home in Ridgewood and moved to Hilton Head Island, SC.
Being the workaholic I am, I have worked all over the island from tree trimming up and down the coast...Expand for more
to building porches to working Maint. in a retirement community to working in a country club. My last 5 years I have been working at the Hilton Head Animal Shelter {a no kill shelter] as Maint. Manager. It's just another day in paradise!!
In our spare time we run around in our motorhome and go camping. We come back to Canton to see pur daughter and her 2 boys then to Cincinnati to see our other daughter and her 2 kids. That pretty much takes up most of my time.
