Sonja Renee Brooks's Story
I am 48 years old now, wow where did the time go?? I am disabled and live at home with my dog Annie. She is a German Shepherd. Two years ago I found my first love, his name is Lawrence Carver. He went to Cynthia Weir in 1975 as I did. He and I are together again and this time it will last forever. We both have grown from stupid kids to adults. I moved to Milledgeville to be near him two years ago. He works with a local company here and is a heating/air tech and also a plumber. I am finally happy in my life now. obesity. At my highest weight, I was 551 pounds and so ready to get my life back. God is so good, he did give me a second chance in life. On July 9, 2007 I had Gastric Bypass Surgery and it was wonderful, to date, I have had no problems with it. I am down to 260 now and trying to get used to being able to leave the house. Before my surgery, I was bed bound. I had not been out of my home in almost five years. Now life is so brand new. I am having to learn life over again. I hope when I do join this site, I can find some lost friends I had growing up.
