Sophie's Story
Life
I went by the nickname "Shelly" while I was a student at Dorman. I was in JROTC for four years and loved every minute of it. I was also in Sr. ROTC at Wofford for a year before a car wreck ended my budding military career. I graduated from USCS in December of 1999 with a BA in elementary education and a BA in history. ted to become a full-time firefighter, so became employed in Spartanburg County as a such. I was a vol. and part time paid firefighter with Glenn Springs-Pauline Fire Department, and I loved every minute of it. I worked at EdVenture for the state firemarshal's offfice teaching fire and life safety, but my heart is really with "the big red trucks". So I have moved back to the Spartanburg area. . Though I havent married as have many of my classmates, I am taking my time finding that special one.
