Stacey's Story
Life
I married the sweetest man in September 2005 and we're now living in Mountain View, CA with our two dogs (black lab - Spencer and Great Dane - Oxy). We're expecting our first baby in January '08. After 10 years in the Navy, finishing my Master's in education, and teaching 5th grade, I'm now a fist time mommy of our daughter, Olivia, and am loving the time I get to spend at home. Olivia was born in January 2008 and is a dream come true!
My Mom is still in Sonora so I get back every now and then.

College
After high school, I went to San Francisco S...Expand for more
tate for a year and then it was off to Chico (along with everyone else from Sonora!). I joined the Navy in 1995 but finished my BA in Exercise and Sport Science from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC while I was still on active duty. When I was finishing up my required reserve time in the Navy, (and working as a personal trainer in Mountain View, CA) I was sent back on active duty in 2003 and sent to Kuwait. When I returned home, I went back to school and completed my Master's Degree in Education. I taught 5th grade but am now taking some much needed time off to write my first children's book and staying home with our 7 month old, Olivia.
