Stacey's Story
Life
I married my long time girl friend, Kimberly Ward, from Pineville, WV, on October 1, 2005. We were married in Christiansburg, VA, where we currently live. We enjoyed a nice, yet rainy, honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, just weeks before the hurricanes hit - lucky us!
School
I will never forget Mr. Beamer's Geography class when he used to say, "You're a lost ball in high weeds." LOL!
College
I attented VA Tech from 1988 through graduation in 1992. I knew I wanted to major in Engineering, however couldn't make up my mind. After trying a hand at Electrical and Mechanical, I eventually found a home in Industrial & Systems Engineering, specializing in manufacturing and ...Expand for more

Workplace
I worked at Georgia Pacific during Summer/Winter breaks from college. I gained a lot of valuable, hands-on, Engineering related experience. VA Transformer in Roanoke, VA, was the first REAL job after college. Again I gained a lot more Engineering experience along with some very valuable computer/networking experience. That experience helped a great deal in landing my last job at Poly-Scientific in Blacksburg, VA. I worked there for 5 years doing computer and network support for the Engineering department before leaving to venture out on my own. I currently work for myself managing some real estate investments that I acquired along the way.
