Stacey's Story
I grew up all over the Northwest. Oregon is home to me...always will be. I went to about 6 or 7 different grade schools, but ended up in Tillamook, Oregon by 6th grade. I don't care what anyone says, it was a great town to grow up in. I made some of the best friends anyone could have. I stayed in Tillamook, mostly with my grandparents, until I was a sophomore in high school. A life changing event, for me, moved us to Eugene. I graduated in 1994 from Willamette High School. I had my daughter in March of 1995. Got married in 98, divorced in 99. Married AGAIN (lol) in 2000. Had my son in April of 2001. I quit my job as a Pre K teacher and Assistant Director of a great daycare to stay home and be mom. We moved to Canby, Oregon in 2002. I loved it there, but it was never re...Expand for more
ally home to me. In 2003 I got divorced,AGAIN (lol, AGAIN) I couldn't handle being married to someone that put his mother and step fathers needs above his wife and children...In 2004, I met Tom. He was my reason for moving back to Eugene. From the first weekend we met, there hasn't been a day that we haven't at least talked on the phone...On February 12, 2005, he asked me to marry him. Two days after my birthday and two days before Valentines day :) We were married July 23, 2005. I became a step mom to Heather, who was 13 at the time. That brings me to now...what the future holds, I will never know, but I do know that I love my family.
I recently closed my daycare to become a nanny to a great couple with 4 kids. It's an amazing opportunity for me. I absolutely love it...
