Stacey's Story
Life
Well it all started on September 9, 1969 at Vicksburg Hospital. I'm sorry I went to far back.
Lets begin at Tensas Academy. WOW! My first year there was amazing and little did I know that I would find my future wife. By the way she's the greatest. Of course you all know that.
After graduating High School, many of you know I attended LA Tech for 1 1/2 years then I moved to Northeast. I did not finish my college there though. I got involved with Cinmark Theatres and later became a manager. Jes & I married in 1991 (All I can say the wedding will go down as one of the worst) with all of our friends present. We moved to Lubbock, TX where Jes & I managed our own theatres and Jes went to college to try and finish up. Of course we moved a year and a half later to Webster, TX (outside of Houston) and managed differnt theatres. We stayed a year and then I got the itch to finish up schooling at a Film & Video school in Orlando, Fl and where Jes finally graduated at UCF.
I tested the waters in Hollywood with some classmates from Orlando and stayed there 4 months only to work on 1 small film. Jes stayed behind to finish school and visited and hated Hollywood.

life a living hell.
Anyway, Jes graduated and we packed up and moved to Nashville. I worked as a grip for 3 months then with luck I got on with a studio where I was a video & audio engineer. I worked 100's of jobs (music videos, tv shows, etc.) I worked there 4 years learning as much as I could and worked as assitant camerman for some projects. I finally quit and started my own company where I produced, directed and edited a small music video and 2 Tv piolts that never saw the light of day. I also managed to edit actor reels to bring in money.
I was offerd a job at Carmike Cinemas and I took the job, because the film & video industry bottomed out. I was a City Manager/ Genreal Manager of a 8 screen and within 1 year got a 16 screen in Murfreesboro, Tn (20 minutes outside of Nashville, and then in June of 2004 I got a 20 screen theatre. WOW! What stress. Well, I was promoted in February 2008 to the City Manager of Nashville. I manager grown ups who act like teens.
To this day, I manage to write sceenplays and still work. I enterd a screenplay on Project Greenlight, but I did not receive enough praise to make it to the next round.
Well, I guess there is more to say, but we can discuss that when we talk.
Hope to here from you soon.
See Ya,
Stacey
