Stacey's Story
Life
After living in the Portland/Beaverton area for 13 years, I moved back to the coast. My kids, Taylor (12) and Alec (9) love the small town experience. Taylor is a 7th grader at Neah-Kah-Nie Middle School-- I swear I am not old enough to have a middle schooler!! Alec is in the 4th grade at Nehalem Elementary. After my divorce in 2002, I met up with an old high school friend. We have now spent 5 fun years together and just broke ground on our new home in Wheeler. I am working in the area as an Autism Specialist, consulting to staff and families within all of the Neah-Kah-Nie, Tillamook, and Nestucca schools. b has been a fun change. The kids are absolutely amazing and I even get to sit in our old high school classrooms when I am observing. I hope this finds you all healthy and happy. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the reunion in 2010 :)
College
I spent the years 90-94 at the University of Portland, first as a biology major and then moved to psychology. There I earned my B.A. in psychology in 1994. I would love to connect up with some of my former biology/psychology, dorm, and sorority friends!
I spent the years 99-01 in the graduate school of ed at Portland State University, earning my masters in special education in 01. I would love to connect up with some of my former early intervention cohort friends.
