Stacey's Story

Life Normal stuff. Moved to Arizona a week after graduation and started working for Alaska Airlines within a couple of months and ever since. Married to my "high school sweetheart," who was a corrections officer until recently quitting and starting a couple of businesses. We have 3 adorable boys. Built a home that I love in the burbs. Nice nice area. Have gone back to school and realized the major I chose is not what I want to do so I am a little in limbo right now. Normal normal. Well the above was the story until August of 2004 we decided to sell our house and build another, and I jokingly looked at my husband and said, "Why dont we move home?" And he said, "yes." We said we would never come back, and if we did come back to Oregon we would only live in Portland and never Eugene. Never s...Expand for more
ay never. So in late October we strolled in to Springfield with a large Uhaul and large trailer behind it, and now live on the hill in Thurston! The adjustment hasnt been easy. Things are truly different here. The kids love being around the family so they are happy and that is what truly matters to us. So we transferred 1 of our businesses here, a karaoke business.... funny isnt it? and sold our other. And I am doing something I never thought I would do.... and none of you would ever guess. smile. But I do extremely well and it more than pays the bills..... it is legal and there is no standing on the corner involved, or dancing. SMILE. It is actually quite conservative. Venture a guess? So that is it. Not as normal as it used to be but we are getting there. Hope you all are doing well.
