Stacey's Story
After graduating, I attended Lanier Tech's nursing program. I graduated from there in 1988, passed my state board exams, moved to gainesville,ga and began working in the nursing field. In 1992 I met by biological father for the first time. My mother wasn't happy, but I was thrilled. We spent the next 7 years trying to make up for lost time. He died in 1999. That was difficult, but the hardest thing was the loss of my mother a year ealier. She was the person I was the closest...Expand for more

In 2001 I decided I wanted to make some changes, so I left my nursing career after deciding I was burnt out, and went to work in retail. I also changed churches, which is where I met my husband Michael. We were married in 2003. The biggest blessing I have ever had came in 2004,my son Adrian. He is now 5 years old and getting ready to start kindergarten in August.
