Stacy's Story

Life I moved to Brookings South Dakota after graduating from Parkside. Was engaged for 3 years...he wasn't Mr. Right. Moved to Volga, which is 5 miles from Brookings. Ended up moving in next door to my soon to be husband. We moved back to Brookings into a beautiful 1920 home that was remodeled in 1995. We got married on December 6th, 2003. My husbands name is Brad Clark, which now makes me Stacy Clark. We have a daughter named Grace Ann who will be 3 years old in July. She amazes us everyday. We have now had our second child, Samantha Kay. She was born June 22nd. Grace loves being big sister and is very helpful. We feel very blessed to have two beautiful girls, and they sure do grow up too fast. I have two cats...Buster & Moxie...who now live out in the country at my dads place. 'm glad I get to work around him. Workplace I started working at the Brookings Hospital/Brookview Manor in the end of August 1994. I started in the dietary department and within 6 months was asked to be dietary clerk. Which meant ordering all the food and material items, and some equipment used in the production of dietary meals, luncheons, and cafeteria. I get good benefits and retirement will be nice if I stick it out there. I made a change in April 2007 and started working in the laundry department. The gals I work with are wonderful and a blast to work with. We have fun at work and after work. My husband Brad was working with Land O'Lakes in Volga when we met. He was a lead, and knew several other shifts. They closed down and now he works with Sterling Technology in Brookings. Is a small business started by a family which will be growing in size within the next year. Brad will have a key role once they expand since he started out with them.
