Stacy's Story

Life I have been married to Becky (Church) since 1988. We have 3 children: Zachary in July 1989, Kirkpatrick in July 1993 and Rachel in January 1999. I was an attorney in my own law office in Viroqua,Wi.,from 1996 to May 2002. Then I became an Assistant District Attorney in Vernon and Juneau Counties between 2002 and 2018. In April of 2018, I was elected Circuit Court Judge for Juneau County. In February of 2020 I lost my beloved bride to brain cancer. College I loved college, it was such a great differance from high school. I loved the intellectual discussion and living with people from all over the county and the world. The parties weren't bad either. ...Expand for more
I loved getting involved in politics and not be looked upon as being a complete geek. I also loved playing college football, untuil my knees couldn't take it that is. Law school was very challenging, but yet, very rewarding, both intellectually and spritually. The friends I have from there will always stay friends. Workplace Have had many jobs since high school. Worked my way through college and law school. After law school in October 1996, I started my own law office. I did almost every kind of law, my favorite areas were criminal and adoption law. May of 2002 I wanted a change in my life, so I took a job as an Assistant District Attorney in Vernon County.
