Stacy's Story
Life
My Job:
For three years after I graduated from college, I worked in UM-Western's Financial Aid Office as a Financial Aid Assistant. In the spring of 2004, I decided I did not want to be behind a desk doing paper work anymore, so I decided to use my teaching degree.
During the 2004-2005 school year, I was hired as a 5th grade teacher in Absarokee, Montana. I was also the junior high volleyball coach. Unfortunately, the position in Absarokee was only a year long one, so as of now, I am still looking for a teaching job for the upcoming school year. I have had several interviews in several different places, but have yet to find a place that really fits me. Hopefully, things will turn around in the next few week...Expand for more

School
I graduated from Twin Bridges High School in 1996.
College
The fall of 1996 was my first semester of college at UM-Western in Dillon (back then it was still WMC). I lived on 3rd floor in Centennial Hall. It was there I met some of my best friends. Three of the friends I met there are still my close friends today.
For four years, I lived and went to school at Western. I was an R.A., an Orientation Leader, and Ambassador and a Statistician for all of Western's athletics.
I had some wonderful times at Western. From late nights in the dorms, to the Polar Bear tournaments to Hogsback memories. The people and times at Western will never be forgotten.
