Life
Okay...after thinking about this for about 15 minutes and wondering if I will come across as totally boring I came up with the following:
John and I got divorced in 2001 and although I used to be insistent that we were meant to be, it turns out that we were meant to be...good friends. The whole situation has actually strengthened our friendship which in the end has made us better parents.
I don't know about you, but being a parent has opened my eyes to a lot of things. I think about things we used to do in school and wonder how I will ever make it through their teenage years!! SCARY!! I have 3 boys, Brady - 17, Austin - 14 and Chase - 9. They are so incredible and make me laugh every day!! esting. Some of the teachers are even still there (Now that makes me feel REALLY old!!)
I think about school every so often and wonder if I would have liked to have done anything different. I have decided that I liked it just the way it was, and I look forward to telling my boys stories, such as "When I was your age..." Man I hated anything that started with that sentence.
I work for a commercial roofing company in Carnation. I have been with the company for 9 years and am an estimator and project manager. I love it, love the company, hate the hour long commute (one way). But at least there is no traffic, just hay trucks and tractors...which of course makes it feel like home anyway!
All in all, I feel like I am in a good place right now and I look forward to seeing what happens next!!
