Stephanie's Story

Life Started out in Bigski Montana working at a ski resort, then went to Phoenix Arizona, from there to Ft Bragg N.C, back to Phoenix, then to BEAUTIFUL Huntington Beach Cal. Why I decided to end up in Oklahoma city, Ok, is beyond me. It is so blah here. No mountains, barely any hills. Red lakes from all the clay. RAH. And tornadoes! I do have two beautiful daughters-Jeanette-20 and Summer-4. Am currently co-habitating. Work at America Online as a Coach-let's just hope the stock keeps going up. School Made it through High School with my two best friends-Barb and Sharon, or Lee and Wrangler (their nicknames.) Loved sports- any type of sport and I was there, with Barb and so many others teammates that make the memories so alive. Thought Mr. Schefstrom was so handsome. Met my first true love at Henley-Ken Coulsen. So many wonderful teachers and some real crappy ones too. College OIT- Or it was then. Business classes. Glendale Community College-(AZ) Management and Marketing. Rose State College (OK)Criminal Justice. University of Phoenix -haven't started yet, and have no clue what I am going to take. Workplace Had a blast working at the ski resort, but too much partying!! In Phoenix, I worked as an Office Manager for a magazine -Today's Business Magazine-but they relocated to Tucson and I didn't want to move. In Huntington Beach, I trained CAR SALESMEN AND WOMEN- Jeep dealership-talk about a wild bunch of people. Four years there. Glad I survived that. In Oklahoma bartended for seven years while going to school off and ...Expand for more
on for a Criminal Justice degree and now am at America Online(AOL)in a supervisor position- but they call it a 'Coach' here. I was selected as Employee of the Year and received the 'Leadership Brick'-which is a great honor. And that is it!! Not too exciting. Current Year 2008- I am a Family Service counselor at a Funeral Home and cemetery. Really a sales job. Pre plan people, because your time will come, I bet on that. No longer co-habitating. Single now. Less stress this way-lol. Still play basketball with my daughter Summer, who is now nine and with my oldest daughter, Jeanette who is 25. I have a beautiful granddaughter who is two. Was in Oregon for my dads 75th birthday in January 08. Got to see all my sisters and that was wonderful. And of course Barb, had to see her, she looks fabulous, as always. Too bad Sharon couldn't come down. We have survived all the tornados that have come our way so far. Tornado alley is so exciting. As of Sept 3, 2008 I now live in Daytona Beach FL, moved down here with my daughter Summer and my girlfriend and her girls. Work for Volusia Funeral Home and Cemetery and live on I guess they call it an Island- It is so beautiful, haven't been able to visit the beach much with all the tropical storms and hurricanes that are headed our way, or that have already passed. Will load up some more pictures soon. My other daughter Jeanette and my granddaughter are headed this way next year. Now I just need some people to come visit. Bruce Dunn from KU said he would come visit-he is still crazy.
