Stephanie's Story
Life
I moved out to Oakland, California in July of 2000 after graduating from Michigan State. In December 2003, I moved back to Livonia to regain Michigan residency to pursue a Master's Degree in Public Administration at Wayne State University. I currently work for a non-profit serving low-income and senior citizens in energy crisis and enjoy my work.
College

Michigan State I was heavily involved in student peace activism. I organized with The Student Peace Action Network (SPAN) which is the student arm of Peace Action, a national organization working for peace through grassroots activism. I had the opportunity to be on the SPAN National Council and went to the International Hague Appeal for Peace in The Netherlands in 1999.
