Stephanie's Story
Life
"Things fall apart, the center does not hold." That's me. In high school I centered my life around survival and taking in all the knowledge I could about anything and everything. "A jack of all trades, and master of none." I have perfected the fine art of sarcasm. I wear it like armor for protection and I even became skilled enough to use it like a weapon to keep unwanted influences out of my life.
I got out of high school and bounced around for a while still with no purpose or any clear goal. I finally took classes at the Bryan Career College and majored in Travel and Tourism. I was pretty proud of myself. I turns out I have a hidden talent for the travel industry. The center of my life became travel. nd never stay long enough to be remembered. Then 9/11 happened and my plans suddenly had a hole in it the size of the World Trade Center.
I wandered aimlessly from job to job with my travel degree and certifications that have thus far proven to be worthless to me. I stuck around town due to lack of destination and purpose. I still planned to leave, since I didn't have anyone or anything in my life to give me any direction. Once again, I was standing in the center when the bottom dropped out.
