Kerry's Story
Life
I graduated from high school in 1966, I went college in Chattanooga, Tn for a year. I was drafted but then signed on an extra year to become a medic. I served in Vietnam 1968-1969, Ft. Belvoir, Va. for 4 months and my last 10 months in Mannheim, Germany. I left the Army in 1970. I was a police officer in Sauk Village, Ill and then Newport News, Va as a detective, I left police work in 1980. I worked with the postal service till 1992...Expand for more
. I retired last November after working for a large vocational college as a recruiter. I live in Chandler, Arizona. We have three children, and eight grandchildren. We have lived in AZ for 21 yrs. Active with church, garden, taking care of pool, and walking. I have just finished my first book entitled, POEMS IN THE KEYS OF LIFE: Reflections of a combat medic. Wrote another book entitled, RICE PADDY STEW AND SAIGON TEA. It is on Amazon.
