Kerry's Story

Life I graduated from high school in 1966, I went college in Chattanooga, Tn for a year. I was drafted but then signed on an extra year to become a medic. I served in Vietnam 1968-1969, Ft. Belvoir, Va. for 4 months and my last 10 months in Mannheim, Germany. I left the Army in 1970. I was a police officer in Sauk Village, Ill and then Newport News, Va as a detective, I left police work in 1980. I worked with the postal service till 1992...Expand for more
. I retired last November after working for a large vocational college as a recruiter. I live in Chandler, Arizona. We have three children, and eight grandchildren. We have lived in AZ for 21 yrs. Active with church, garden, taking care of pool, and walking. I have just finished my first book entitled, POEMS IN THE KEYS OF LIFE: Reflections of a combat medic. Wrote another book entitled, RICE PADDY STEW AND SAIGON TEA. It is on Amazon.

First day of winter...Well what do you know we did not get any snow again, this is the same it has been every year since we moved here in 1981.
