Life
I still go by the name of "Sam" with my long-time/long-term friends though my husband does call me Stephanie.
Without getting too sappy or mushy -- my life has been blessed with many opportunities in career development; am fortunate to have been able to retire at 48 in 1996. This 'fortunate' involved not only scrimping/saving - but also some tragedies of my immediate family members' deaths ... Dad 1970, Mom 1992 and brother, Dick, 1993. That leaves only me on this end of the family tree - but my wonderful husband, Pete, has an extended fam...Expand for more
ily who has embraced me. Another great mother, 1 brother, 1 sister, (his) 2 children and (his) 6 grands. Ta-ta for now! "Sam" PS: 12/8/2018: Still happy and blessed in so many ways. Thank God for "replacement" parts: already have 1 hip and 2nd hip will be my 2019 "do" in January; maybe cataracts later on. Yea Medicare & access to great medical care. Expecting S-N-O-W on the 'morrow; luckily we have a generator to keep Pete and me -- along with our 3 cats -- cozy & toasty. Holiday Blessings and please Remember the Reason for the Season.
