01/30/2009 - Another year's gone by, and gratefully, it's been a good one. Doug, Jessica and I are still living in Renton, and I'm still working in Fremont (phew). Jessica just turned 14 and loves 8th grade. We don't see much of Doug these days since he's in his new "shop" most of the time, LOL. Actually, Doug's also doing well and still enjoying working in Auburn; of course, he enjoys his 4x4 "wheelin'" trips with his buddi...Expand for more
es too. Shannon, my sister, recently received notification that she'd won a national award in education (the Milken Award); she's a principal and has her EdD (I couldn't be more proud). Mom and Dad are still on the Island and enjoy being retired. Doug, his parents, and I will be cruising to Alaska this summer; we're really excited (ooh, cold, not quite the Mexican Riviera cruise).
