Stephen's Story
Life
Well, where do we start? I spent the first eighteen years of my life trying as hard as I could to get out of Rockland County. I spent the next twenty years of my life trying to insure that I would never have to go back. So what happens? I get married, have a son, two dogs, and settle down ---in Blauvelt. The circle of life is complete.
I'm fortunate enough to live in an area where many of my classmates live. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to walk outside my house, walk around the block and see all of them.
I have a lovely wife, named Lisa who is a massage therapist, and a great 9 year old son, Christopher. They mean the world to me.
While I did go into acting after college, I got far more reward out of producing plays off and off-off Broadway...Expand for more
. I even had my own little theatre down on Bank Street in the village. My company was called The Second Chance Theatre Company. We produced revivals of plays and musicals that were big flops when they first opened in New York. Besides performing in New York, we also had tours in Philadelphia and Chicago.
I got out of show business in 1992, met my future wife, settled down, and went back to school and got my Accounting degree. I now work as a Manager of Supply Chain for a manufacturing company.
While I am not a religious person, I still consider myself to be very blessed in the life that I have, the family I love, and the friends that I see. I can't wait for our 30th reunion next year. I would also love to hear from all of you, so please, drop a line.
