Stephen's Story
Been told now that I am back I better write more on my life here.
Left High School and went to England to hitchhike around and see the sights with a friend.
Attended Bremerton Jr College for two years and then joined the Air Force. Instructor and private pilot in Air Training Command. Attened SIU and CCAF while in the service.
Attended UTC and BYU for three years. Started with pre-med, finished with Photojournalism and Drama...what a switch that was.
Climbed the easy side of Mount Rainier several times in the 70s
In 1976 set the land speed record for a stock 280Z...
Went back east to work with a well known photographer. Worked out of Atlanta for Montgomery Wards and for Barbizon Modeling School: staff photographer for both.
Got a reputation as a person to 'fix' problem studios. Hired by ASI & PCA Intl as a Regional Manager and saved several districts that were bottom producers and made them top in the company.
Had my own studio for 10 years in Portland, OR. Moved to Anchorage Alaska ...Expand for more
for 6 years to leave the world behind and work on images/software for a new photographic idea. Started Dream Photos and introduced a new patented method of green screen photography.
Now in Las Vegas with a coast to coast company., that means one office and I travel all over. Uncle Sam keeps me busy with side projects....which I think now are over. Check out my work at the three [w] [do the dot] dreamphotos [dot] biz
Been married several times, wrong choices, bad timing or 'gee, I should have married my high school sweetheart. [ think she knows who she is. But have beautiful children and grandchildren and tons of great memories.
I love to ski (was able to ski everyday in Alaska for two years doing photography). I sing/write songs and have won two talent shows, with great backup as my voice isn’t the greatest. Easy rock climbing is good and so are Renaissance Fairs.
If you knew me, reach out and let me know you are still around. I love to toss around memories and make new ones.
