Sharm's Story
Currently happily divorced with two biological kids and 2 surrogate-type daughters (niece and exchange student - both now grown.)
My son is a wonderful, highly intelligent, and well-mannered 21 year old whose in college. My daughter is 4. Yes, quite a range but they are great.
My surrogate daughters: We had the great opportunity to host an exchange student from Albania who then became our surrogate daughter. She graduated college and became an architect. The second surrogate daughter is my niece who lived with us for several years. She was in the Army showing her...Expand for more
smarts and became fluent in IT-speak. After getting out, she became a skin specialist.
ME: I have lived in England for 3-1/2 years, in other states, and traveled through parts of Europe. For the past 21 years, I have been an engineer and project/risk manager. For 14 of those years, I have been at NASA in Houston.
Life is great. Even with its twists and turns, the path has led me to some wonderful places and still does. Life is an adventure and I embrace it fully.
