Life
My biggest accomplishment would be my most recent trip to Colombia South America. I have never been out of the country and was overwhelmed. I was treated like a celebrity, they love Americans. Everywhere I went kids smiled and wanted me to take their picture. When I came home I stayed in and just tried to think about my experience. How lucky we are to have so much and my feelings of there is a whole world out there to see, kept me thinking for days.Biggest surprise was back in March 2000, when I had surgery and they removed 1 kidney. every day, sometimes for 2 hours and ran in the Corporate Challenge downtown Boston this past June, when I haven't even run for almost 5 years.
Life is good!
I have been back to Colombia twice since I last wrote here and will travel there in three weeks. I have many friends who are like a second family there. I walk down the street and everybody waves or smiles. The food, people and climate are great. They are a proud people that are rich in traditions and the city I stay in is Barbosa, which is surrounded by mountains. They are fascinated by Americans and ask many questions!
