Stephen's Story
I grew up in Hialeah,FL. Entered the Air Force in 1968. After leaving the Air Force in 1972, I started Nursing School at Miami-Dade in 1973-1974. Got my Associate degree in Nursing 1974. Moved to California right after graduation. I worked as an ER Nurse and that is where I met my wife Carol. Neither of us liked California so we moved to Oregon where my wife grew up. tired from there in 1994. One of our last assignments was in Alaska and we decided that is where we wanted to live after leaving the Air Force. I worked as a Clinical Supervisor at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage. Recently (2009) we moved back to Oregon where both of us are now retired. I am back to raising and racing homing pigeons. We have 2 grown sons (Stephen and Mike) Stephen lives in Colorado, Mike is still living in Alaska. Our first grandchild (Sam) was born in 2014 to our son Stephen and his wife Faith.
