Stephen's Story
Life
After graduating from VP I spent about 10 years windsurfing, acting and working in the film and television business.
Some highlights include about a year in Yugoslavia (before the war) and a year and a half in Los Angeles where I got a lot of work and had a pretty good time. I traveled a lot and in 1989 found myself back in Toronto and in need of some change.
Met a great lady who I married and now have two amazing twin girls (14).
I went back to university in 1990 also and got a law degree. After that I worked for Tridel for about 6 years, practicing law and developing new businesses. While I had a great job, I thought I needed something more so I left in 2000 to form a new high-tech start up. Great timing - Not!!! Well at least I was havi...Expand for more

Anyway, here it is several years later and I'm working for Rogers and still having fun.
For fun I play a lot of football. I run to keep from getting too fat (I ran the Boston Marathon last year which was fantastic) and I drink a lot of beer to keep from getting too serious.
My family, mom, dad, sisters Lee and Shelagh are great - although we see each other too rarely. Lee lives in England with her husband and two adopted boys while Shelagh lives with her husband and two girls in Toronto.
I look back on my time at VP with fondness. Great friends like Allan Eby, Marie Bartholomew, Rob Walsh and Ken Rose. Great teachers too. A very creative and diverse bunch when you think about it.
