Stephen's Story
Life
tried college at UO, didn't graduate. lived in Eugene for a while, moved to Portland area for jobs, eventually moved to Seattle for same reason. became a single father Sep 2, 2001. still in Seattle, doing geeky stuff for a living.
Workplace
I ran a web design company for a while but didn't do too well. I moved to Portland and got a job doing QA. From there I got picked up by Oracle and started doing Software Configuration Management. After a couple years there I came up ...Expand for more
to Seattle, doing the same thing for 4.5 years. I had a brief stint consulting at a Japanese shipping company. Then I contracted at Cingular Wireless doing testing automation before landing my current gig there doing performance monitoring.
Military
I've grown disgusted with the US military-industrial complex, the imperialist neo-con agenda, and the massacres and invasions dubbed "wars". I was never a supporter of the military but I've grown progressively more appalled with it.
