I rely on what these teachers gave me every day in my work life. Ok, onward to other fun memories. I'll list a few from all years in school, then come back to this later when time: - Daryl Denlinger and Jerry Feister 'going underground' in the High School utility tunnels. - Riding on the bus to/from soccer games singing Queen's 'We Are the Champions" - The whole environmental science class getting busted by Mr. Williams for having 'whips' made of beeds on our pencils. - Hitting a homerun in summer baseball when my grandfather was there for the first time and whispered to me to hit a home run. Magic. - Field days - what a boondoggle those were. Why can't we have those in work life? - "Scream in the Dark" - Halloween has never been the same since. - Drivers Ed. with Mr. Hutchinson and my partner, Mr. Reed, peeling out in front of our trigonometry class' window. - Pit band - Steve Boaz and me had good laughs in our trumpeting. - Watching Shelly Denlinger sing the lead part in 'Music Man'. I'm just wondering how I ever weighed 100 pounds less.... - Putting a great tackle on Rodney Petersheim of Lancaster Mennonite in our senior soccer game against them. - Mr. Albert's icy patience with me on music lessons when I hadn't had much time to put in practice needed. I'm still practicing sir! - Mr. Koshuta flipping desks over to get at me when he thought I was walking out of study hall without his permission. Doh! - The day we evacuated school because of Three Mile Island. - The day Pope John Paul II was shot, and getting the news in Mr. Altman's class. - The day that Mr. Scott came into our 7th grade math class drunk and got ejected. - Hitting the space bar over and over and over in Ms. Weiss' typing class - Typing is one of the most important skills I need now!!!!! - Ashland, Sturbridge, and Williamsburg trips. - The PVHS Cheerleaders!
