Stephen's Story
Life
After graduating from high school, I spent nine years in the US Army with overseas tours in Germany and Korea with an extended tour in Vietnam from February 1966 through September of 1967. I met my wife, Patsy, (now deceased), while I was stationed at Ft Stewart GA and we were married in November of 1968. We have two grown children, both girls, one is a surgeon and the other is an education consultant for the state.

th the US Postal Service. I retired from the Coast Guard Reserve as a CWO4 with over 21 additional years of military service. I retired from the US Postal service, with nearly 30 years of service, in 2001 after serving as a letter carrier, supervisor, manager, an administrator and finally as a Senior Address Management Specialist on the South Georgia District staff. I have lived in Savannah GA since 1971.
Life has been busy and good and it goes on. I seem to stay busier in retirement than I was when I was working.
