Stephen's Story
After graduating from SJV I went to St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore (close to my beloved Orioles and Colts!) I stayed at St. Mary's through first theology and then left to work for the Dept. of Rec. and Parks in Baltimore County as a supervisor. 8 years into that I started Law School at the University of Baltimore. since 2004. On May 14, 2011 I was ordained as a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. I was vested at my ordination by Father Bob Ciliniski (SJV '71). I am married with three grown children and two young granddaughters. SJV played a vital role in my spiritual life. The friends I made there are like family to me. In Baltimore County I am in the same parish as Chuck Zaepfel, SJV class of '74.
