Stephen's Story
My family moved around a lot while I was growing up; so I got to meet lots of people in school. The 1965-66 year was at Orville Wright Jr. High in Tulsa, OK. I was in 8th grade. I attended Whitney Jr high in Tulsa in 9th and Hale High School in the 10th grade. I enjoyed those years in Tulsa. I was active in the Engineering Club at Hale in Mr Large's class. Some friends I remember from Hale are Bruce Portz, Rex Sallee, Jeff Siddons, Loie Pascoe, Rosemary Fiiles, Rae Ann Carter, and Pat Betterton. I lost touch with Tulsa classmates over the years.

I went to San Jacinto College for an Associates degree in Electronics Technology. I have worked in the A/C & refrigeration business, traffic signal controllers, and the geophysical exploration field. Finally, I settled in to a career as a biomedical engineering technician in a large hospital. I stayed there 27 years before retirement. I also graduated from The University of Houston with a B.S . degree.
After a failed marriage in my twenties, I remained single for quite a while. Then I met my wife, Mary, about 20 years ago. Life is really good. We're happy and healthy and have great friends. That's a lot to be grateful about!!
