Life After working 20 years in the asphalt industry in Toledo, I went to Owens College to get my Associates in Radiation Therapy. It's amazing the brain still worked at age 40. Upon graduation I moved to Port Charlotte, FL for six years. The last year I was there I transfered to the dosimetry (physics) department calculating treatment plans for radiation therapy patients. In October 1999, I moved to Baton Rouge, LA and worked for the Baton Rouge General Medical Center. You wouldn't believe how much fun Mardi Gras is! In 2002, I moved back to Florida and worked for an agency doing temporary assignments around the country for the next five years. What a way to see the country and get paid for it, too. My first assignment was 10 months in Salt Lake City at LDS Hospital and had a wonderful time there. Since then, I have worked in Lancaster, PA at Lancaster General Hospital, Mercy Cancer Center in Hot Springs, AR, McLeod Medical Center in Florence, SC, Christus Spohn in Corpus Christi, TX, Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL, Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH, Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, MI. From 2007 until July of 2010 I worked for a company in Las Vegas. Now I am on the road again working as a temp traveling around the country.
