Stephen's Story

Life Living in the Dallas Texas area and enjoy no state income tax filing. Living a simple life and enjoying my wife and two kids. Keep up with Oklahoma and Ponca City stuff. Predicted back in 1981 that Conoco being purchased by DuPont was the wrong marriage and that Seagram's was a better partner. Why? Cause Seagram doesn't compete with the research, development and energy ...Expand for more
like DuPont and now Phillips. Now look...DuPont eliminated personnel and departments that were similar with Conoco's own departments. DuPont wasn't independent of Conoco. Finally, Conoco merged with Phillips in 2002 and Ponca City is losing to Bartlesville because of the politicans and concerns of the Tulsa and Bartlesville. Yes, I saw the writing on the wall back in 1981.

Nostalgia for Dallasites and North Texas....Mrs Baird's Bakery off U.S. 75/Mockingbird Lane. The aroma/smell was strong and sweet. This location closed in 1998.

Dutch famous for Windmills but these Turbines are huge. I've seen these huge turbines in Oklahoma and West Texas. These trains run on Windmills.
