vices (primarily health care.)
In 2005 moved to Sitka, Alaska to direct computer operations at Sheldon Jackson College. That institution closed in 2007. Next managed technology for the Sitka Tribe of Alaska, a native sovereign nation, before moving to central Washington as network admin for a county government.
Along the way had three children (now in Eureka, California, Klawock, Alaska and Charlotte, North Carolina,) picked up more than 300 hours of graduate credit at several universities, and polished my cooking skills. (Now editing a 28 volume collection of recipes - including Peruvian cuisine.) Always a camper, a few years ago began serious ultra-lightweight backpacking and hiked much of the Pacific Crest Trail. Now hiking in Andes mountains.
Retired to the Amazon in Peru on the east side of the Andes. I live in a small village without telephone or internet connectivity but get into a larger town every week or two and use an internet cafe to keep up with things.
