Steve's Story
Well, let's see, hmmm. back in the early 70's I went to Dr. Oakley, Currie and Central Memorial. my Mother passed away from cancer so I was on my own when I was in my very early teens . worked cleaning malls at night and went to school during the day because I did not want to be put in a foster home. I guess I was a bit of a troubled kid, ended up in juvie every once in a while (not for being mean or malicious, just went for a joy ride once in a while. (nice, but troubled) : > ) . Joined the Army in my late teens to see the world... radio operator for a while then Medic but I couldn't handle the discipline in the Arm...Expand for more
y and the Army couldn't handle me.. the still young me went west, finished off high school and went to college for a few years and then decided to take a trade (welding) worked in the shipyard repairing and building ships and then went across the way to the Naval ship yard and have worked there for 28 years.
Wow! now I seem to be a boring adult. I loooove traveling. Love running, riding my bike (no, not a motor bike : > ) like working out hmmm. Sooo, are we there yet? Any way, loved all my friends back then, miss them and wonder how they are doing and am sorry I got a few of them in trouble back then ... : > )
