Steve's Story
Had a wet ride today, Million Mile Monday for the HOG folks. I managed to get in a wet ride of only 70 miles today. It started out dry, but the rain got me on highway 231 around Brundidge. I ride half helmet and no rain gear so the rain was stinging the heck out of my face and my goggles only helped my vision slightly. nished my ride, coming back in on highway 167 and passed the outer edge of the last heavy rain cell only collecting a few drops before getting in the clear. I arrived home a little damp but none the worse for it.
I hope to make it Naples this week for the 4th and several important birthdays in July. It should be nice to be around family and friends for a couple of weeks.
