Steve's Story
School
I learnt a lot in school. I learnt lots of wicked good grammer and speling.
Actually, as much as I hated Carol Mason's classes and hated the fact that she always gave me a 92 on everything--even when I deserved more--I found when I went to college that my English grammar skills were far and away better than any other student there. So I have to be thankful that she made life difficult for me between 1981 and 1985. It only helps me now.

(You might also note my lack of brevity--a skill I neither had the luck to inherit, nor the wits to learn.)
College
College, on the other hand, was all about jumping through hoops--not much time was spent actually learning anything useful.
Although there was that golf PE class that came in useful later.
Workplace
Working for other people sucks. I did it for far too long.
I won't ever do it again.
Military
Spent one tour at the National Security Agency during Desert Storm.
